Kardon A. Stolzman

Kardon Stolzman received his B.A. from Cornell University and his J.D. from Brooklyn Law School, where he was an Edward V. Sparer Public Interest Law Fellow. During law school, Mr. Stolzman completed a judicial internship for the Honorable Kevin N. Fox, United States Magistrate Judge for the Southern District of New York. He also interned with South Brooklyn Legal Services and Brooklyn Law School’s Workers’ Rights Clinic.

In addition to his work with Belluck & Fox’s mesothelioma and asbestos cases, Mr. Stolzman’s practice has included work related to discrimination, sexual harassment, wrongful discharge, employee benefits and labor law. Prior to joining Belluck & Fox, Mr. Stolzman led CURE-NY, Consumers United for Reform and Education, a coalition of community, patient and consumer groups working to reduce the incidence of deaths and injury arising from medical error and to protect the rights of medical negligence victims. Mr. Stolzman has also had an active career in national, state and local politics. During his tenure with the New York City Council, he helped pass the nationally recognized “Childhood Lead Paint Poisoning Prevention Act.”

Mr. Stolzman is admitted to practice law in the state of New Jersey. His admission in New York State is pending. He is a member of the New York State Academy of Trial Lawyers and the Public Justice Foundation.
