Tioga County, New York nestles in the
southernFinger Lakes Region of the state. Long known for
its vast array of recreational and tourist activities, Tioga

While the economic future of Tioga County shines
brightly, residents still enjoy the rural and historic
beauty of their region. In the tiny hamlets and
villages, the downtown districts retain their historic
building and tree-lined streets. Romantic bed
and breakfasts are scattered throughout, and antique
shops abound.
The Susquehanna
River offers some of the finest trout fishing in the
region, while the Finger
Lakes Trail awaits avid hikers, crossing remote and
beautiful areas of New York's Southern Tier region. The
Tioga Motorsports Park delights race fans, while golfers enjoy their choice of eight different courses. Winter
turns Tioga County into a wonderland for outdoor
enthusiasts, with ice-skating, cross-country skiing, and
ice fishing.
